CoreMobile boasts an impressive easy-to-use User Interface, tailor-made for smartphone devices. It looks and feels very much like a native mobile application. The features in CoreMobile are optimised for use on touch screen devices, for example, in the screen to the right, tapping on the big green button will perform a clock in.

Geo-location & Mapping

CoreMobile takes advantage of some of the cutting edge features of modern mobile devices. An example of this type of new technology is using location-aware features such as geolocation to determine a user's location.

• CoreMobile Clocking is geo-aware, allowing you to tag a user's location when they clock in
• Previous clockings can be viewed on a Map or Satellite view, which can be panned, zoomed and interacted with using pinch and swipe gestures
• CoreMobile respects users' privacy - permission to track location is requested before clocking
• The application can restrict clockings to only those that provide location, and can validate clockings based on coordinate ranges
• The geographical data tagged in Core Mobile can be used in reports and in other CoreHR applications

CoreMobile can use a variety of technologies to track location, depending on the capabilities of the user's device. If the device includes a GPS chip, this can be used to provide highly accurate location information. Alternatively Wi-Fi, IP address and cellular triangulation can be used for a relatively accurate reading.

CoreMobile enables employees to perform common HR tasks, regardless of their location or time of day. Rather than having to use a computer, they can simply use their own mobile phone or tablet computer to perform tasks such as clocking in and out, submitting annual leave, viewing time and attendance balance information and much more.

The easiest way to find your colleagues

CoreMobile provides full access to the CoreHR staff directory, making it easy to find colleagues and contact them, directly on the device itself.

Using CoreMobile, you can:

• Find a colleague by scrolling through a list or searching
• View profiles of other members of your team
• Bookmark colleagues to easily find them again later
• See profiles you've recently viewed to make it easier to follow up
• View and edit what your profile looks like to other colleagues

From a staff directory profile, you can:

• E-mail a colleague
• Call them
• Send them an SMS text message
• Share the contact with a colleague via e-mail
• Add or remove the contact to or from your Bookmarks

View your payslips, anywhere, anytime

Core Mobile gives employees complete access to their payslips and other important HR documents. The application provides a distinctive view of the payslip, optimised for display on mobile devices. All of the data is easy to find, with the most important details prioritised, such as Net Pay, Date Paid and current salary.

The Core Mobile payslip is divided into five sections:

• Summary view
  Displays the net pay, date paid, period number, cost centre, scale code, salary and any payslip messages.
• Earnings view
  Displays total earnings and a breakdown of each individual income.
• Deductions view
  Displays total deductions and a breakdown of each individual deduction.
• Payroll Details view
  Displays payroll information for the given payslip, including paygroup, personnel number, SSN/NI/PPS number and taxation details.
• Year-to-date Cumulatives view
  Displays the gross income and deduction totals for the current year to date, with taxable pay, tax paid, social insurance paid and more.
