Yesterday marked one of our greatest achievements as a company. We sat amongst the best of the best in Ireland’s workforce – companies such as Salesforce, Tesco and Woodies . And what an honour it is to be part of this group!

What does it mean to be a ‘Great place to work’?

The 18th annual Great Place to Work Best Workplaces in Ireland awards is organised by Great Place to Work® Ireland and held in Dublin. The Great Place to Work assessment includes a few different indicators. In order to rank, the vast majority of employees must consider the company to have a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, a diverse and inclusive workplace and constantly look for better ways to serve its customers. The assessment also looks at follow-through and trust in the company and management.

So how have we gotten to this point?

Our people are heavily involved in making CoreHR a place people want to work. When we created our company’s value statement, every single employee input into what it looked like and added what was important to them. It takes an army and we couldn’t have gotten to this place without our incredible people.

“CoreHR today is demonstrating insightful and pioneering practices across all areas,” said Cathal Divilly, Partner at Great Place to Work® Ireland. “The company knows exactly what it is, where it is going, and how to get there. Overall, CoreHR’s submission illustrates a success story in terms of its cultural transformation.”

What’s next?

Being included in the ranking is a huge achievement, but it doesn’t stop there. We’ll continue to challenge ourselves in everything we do, because innovation is part of the culture at CoreHR. Just this year, we implemented a much-anticipated unlimited vacation policy that relies heavily upon self-motivation, ownership and accountability.

And when it comes to accountability, we’re proud to talk about our Flexible Working Policy. With 15 different nationalities and 26 different languages within our CoreUnited family, being able to work when and where you need to is really important. We’ll continue to push ourselves to do more, be better and be more flexible so that we remain a Great Place to Work for many years to come. Watch this space!
